In June 2014, Parker County Center of Hope opened The Hope Chest Resale Store and gave the community a great place to donate items and shop for wonderful treasures. All store proceeds go directly to Center of Hope to support programs that provide help to struggling families living in poverty.

But the story of The Hope Chest doesn’t end there. The Hope Chest is also a six-month job training program for individuals who have completed the Center’s Jobs for Life course. Qualifying students will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the store manager to improve on core work readiness skills while staying connected to their life coach and classes at the Center.

The Hope Chest is located at 1318 Clear Lake Road in Weatherford, Texas. The store carries quality items including designer label clothing and accessories for men and women. We also carry an assortment of furniture, home décor, housewares, seasonal goods, books and many more items at affordable prices. All items are carefully selected for quality and like-new appearance.

Hundreds of items are received each week, so there is always a new shopping experience at The Hope Chest!

Donation Guidelines

Thank you for donating to The Hope Chest!  Your donation is tax-deductible and goes directly to Parker County Center of Hope to help families living in poverty.  When donating clothes, please remove hangers and place in either a box or bag. Thanks!

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers help sort, pack and stock items in the store. This is great for large groups or individuals. If you would like to see more volunteer opportunities, you can view Parker County Center of Hope’s areas to volunteer.
